Scotty McCreery and Gabi Dugal’s wedding was a four-day festivity to celebrate the immense love between a young couple, all of which was captured for the singer’s new “This Is It” music video. The nearly four-minute clip features the newlywed couple as they are surrounded by family and friends to say “I do” during a romantic ceremony in North Carolina.

Among the montage of clips from their wedding weekend was the moment McCreery first got to see his bride.

“The first look was a big one for me. I wasn’t sure I was going to tear up until then, and then it all kind of all hit me,” McCreery told The Knot. “Seeing her walk down the aisle was another.”

Added Dugal, “The first look—I loved. I wasn’t sure because it wasn’t as traditional, but it was nice to get our nerves out before the ceremony.”

The first look wasn’t the only thing that had McCreery wiping away tears. It was when Dugal walked down the aisle on the arm of her father that the tears started flowing for the singer.

“They did a great job with capturing all the emotion,” he says. “I hope fans see how fun of a wedding it was. The music video is very documentary-style. There are moments when you see me all emotional, and Gabi smiling and showing all 32 of her teeth.”

McCreery and Dugal, a pediatric nurse at Duke Hospital, first met in kindergarten and began dating during their senior year of high school.

“This Is It” was written just two weeks before the singer proposed to Dugal and is the second single from his recently released full-length album, Seasons Change.
