Last year, millions were touched by the TV movie, Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors. The film, starring  Jennifer Nettles as Avie Lee Parton, Ricky Schroder as Robert Lee Parton, Gerald McRaney as Rev. Jake Owens and Alyvia Alyn Lind as young Dolly Parton, shattered records upon its debut with 13 million fans tuning in to its premiere.

NBC will air the sequel to the film, Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, on Wednesday, November 30 at 9/8c. In advance of the much anticipated movie, NBC has released two previews, giving fans a sneak peek at what’s to come in the next chapter of young Dolly Parton’s life.

As seen in the previews, the Parton family experiences joy as well as peril as an unexpected blizzard hits their tiny East Tennessee town. The holiday-themed movie also documents the sacrifices that Dolly’s father and his children make to raise enough money to purchase his wife the wedding ring he could never afford. In the clips, fans see their first-look at the movie and get a glimpse of Parton’s cameo in the film. Watch the previews above and below.

“I was so overwhelmed and touched by how many people watched ‘Coat of Many Colors’ and their reaction to it,” Parton said at the time the movie was announced. “The song ‘Coat of Many Colors,’ of course, has always been my favorite and has touched so many people through the years, especially me. It is a true story from a very special time in my childhood. I am so happy to share this story with the viewers and to say there is so much more to tell because mine truly has been a life of many colors. I hope the viewers will fall in love all over again.”

It’s been quite the year for Parton. In addition to releasing her Pure & Simple album, the superstar has also been on tour promoting the release on her Pure & Simple Tour. Last week, she received the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at the 50th Annual CMA Awards. Later this month, she’ll appear on NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center alongside fellow musical guests such as Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Tony Bennett, Neil Diamond, and Josh Groban.
