Shania Twain can’t contain her excitement for her first-ever movie role in Trading Paint as she shared some behind-the-scenes snapshots with fans via social media recently.

Cuddling up close to friend and co-star John Travolta, the country singer looks like she knows just what she’s doing with a comfortable stance on set. Seen holding a cooler next to Travolta who grips tight to his fishing equipment, the two seem to have bonded quickly over their roles in the racing-based film.

The plot of Trading Paint, according to Variety, is about “down and out dirt track racing legend who is drawn back into the winners circle after his son joins a competitor’s racing team and incites an intense and dangerous competition between father and son.” Twain takes on the role of “Becca” for the project, but it is unsure what her storyline will unravel into throughout the script.

Starring alongside Twain and Travolta are British actor Toby Sebastian and Mohamed Hadid, father to supermodel sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid. Michael Madsen also snagged a part in the cast, and will be featured in the film alongside his star-studded crew.

Twain balances her film time with promoting her forthcoming anticipated album, NOW, which hosts personal songs like the lead single, “Life’s About to Get Good.” The album is set to come out on September 29 in stores and digital outlets.

Trading Paint is slated to premiere in June of 2018.
