Sparks Fly in Justin Moore’s ‘Somebody Else Will’ Music Video
“Somebody Else Will” is the second single from Moore’s Kinda Don’t Care album and follows his No.1 smash “You Look Like I Need A Drink.”
Country music traditionalist Justin Moore turned up the heat in the music video for his sexy new single “Somebody Else Will.” In a clip that sends electricity through the air, the video highlights a motocross babe cleaning up for a night on the town and meeting a mechanic-turned-cowboy at a dark club where sparks fly between the two during a sultry dance on dance floor.
“Cause somebody else will / If I don’t walk up and ask you your name / Right now, offer to buy you a drink / Sit down and tell you your looks could kill / Somebody else will,” Moore sings in the clip brought to life by acclaimed video director Shane Drake.
“Shane and I have worked together a lot throughout my career,” said Moore of the clip filmed in Nashville’s The Sutler. “He always does a great job of getting shots of me that portray the music and that’s a talent.”
Added Drake, “This song is super freaking cool and for this shoot day I really wanted to match that with the visuals. We are in a VIP underground club that has a futuristic/neon/Bladerunner vibe which you don’t typical associate with Country.”
The latest single from Moore’s Kinda Don’t Care adds a little more R&B flair to Moore’s music that fans may not have initially expected from the singer.
“This is the first time I’ve ever used loops and tracks and all that good stuff, you know. And I had to educate myself on how to use those things in a positive manner and have it not get in the way and take over and do all those things that can be perceived as negative, you know,” he explained. “And so for me it was a lot of fun. I wanted to make an album that felt good. And I usually don’t take that mentality in the studio. I’m usually more lyric driven and less conscious of the feel of a record and I think this record feels really good.”
