Sugarland Announces 48-City Still The Same 2018 Tour
It’s the news Sugarland fans have desperately been waiting for… the duo is embarking on a new tour! Dubbed the Still The Same 2018 Tour, Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush will criss-cross the United States for a series of stops together in their first tour since their In Your Hands Tour in 2012.
Sugarland revealed the news in a post to Facebook Wednesday morning (Jan. 3) with a link to the list of cities they’ll soon return to. Though no actual dates were revealed, the duo shared that pre-sale tickets will become available to fans beginning January 9.
The GRAMMY-award winners have already made a splash with many exciting announcements since their surprise reunion at the CMA Awards in November. Before the end of 2017, Sugarland began teasing their new project and debuted their first single in five years, “Still The Same,” which encompasses their feelings towards the next chapter of their career.
“The title of the song is so meaningful to us as we want fans to know, we are still the same, we are still the same Sugarland they’ve known and loved,” shared Nettles previously.
“We want to finish where we left off. We always knew were going to make music again, so this has been the best of both worlds,” added Bush. “We were able to take time to feed our personal passions, and we’re excited to come back together to create music as a band again.”
Fan pre-sale tickets for the Still The Same 2018 Tour go on sale beginning January 9.
