Surprise – David Nail and Wife Expecting TWINS!

David Nail and his wife Catherine have been keeping a pretty big secret…err, secrets, from fans over the past few months.

Nail and his wife Catherine revealed they’re expecting TWINS tonight at the CMA Awards red carpet where she arrived looking noticeably pregnant.

We caught up with the pair, who have been married since 2009, to talk about the pregnancy prior to “Country Music’s Biggest Night.”

“I feel good. I feel like I’ve had a dream pregnancy, and especially, um, we’re having twins, so that’s kind of the bigger story,” Catherine told Sounds Like Nashville. “So I just feel really lucky. I haven’t been sick. Worst thing has been swollen feet, but I can deal with that all day long.”

David took a lighthearted look at the unexpected multiple pregnancy. “Twins, yeah, buy one get one free. That’s the way I’m looking at it.”

The couple also revealed that they’re having a boy and a girl. “It is fun. I have a lot of friends who’ve had multiple kids and they have two girls and they really want that boy or vice versa,” David said. “It’s kind of good to know that if we do decide to have another kid, we can just have another kid and we don’t have to worry about the pressure of all where ‘I really hope this is a girl or a boy.’”
