Surprise – Frankie Ballard is Married!

Frankie Ballard took to Instagram on Sunday (March 12) to announce that he and girlfriend Christina Murphy have said “I do.”
“Someday baby, You’ll accomp’ny me…and that day is today! @oldsmokeysboots has become my wife,” he shared along with a photo of himself and his new bride standing outside what appears to be a church.
Murphy also shared the news on the social media platform, writing “My dream just came true @frankieballard MY HUSBAND!!!!” The Texas native, who owns Old Smokeys Boots in Nashville, also updated her Instagram bio to read “Mrs. Chrissy Ballard.”
In the photo, Ballard is dressed in a classic tux and bow tie, while Christina, also known as Chrissy, is donning a mermaid-style white wedding gown, complete with a gorgeous veil and headpiece.
The nuptials come as quite a surprise to fans as Ballard and Murphy had not previously announced their engagement publicly. Fans may recognize Murphy from Ballard’s “Helluva Life” music video.
Ballard is at Country radio now with “You’ll Accomp’ny Me,” a cover of a Bob Segar song from his latest album, El Rio. The Michigan native’s next scheduled tour date is on March 16 in Corpus Christi, TX, so it appears the newlyweds will have to plan a honeymoon for a later date.
