Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean Lead 2012 World Music Awards Nominees
The 2012 World Music Awards nominations have been released and some of Country music’s finest have received top honors. Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean are among those who received nods for their incredibly successful years.
Jason and Taylor lead with six nominations, with Carrie following closely with five. All three are nominated for World’s Best Entertainer of the Year, along with Keith Urban and Kelly Clarkson. Also nominated are Kenny Chesney, Blake Shelton, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Kid Rock, Tim McGraw, Zac Brown Band and Jimmy Buffett.
The World Music Awards will take place at the Marlins Stadium in Miami, Fla. on Dec. 22. It will broadcast in more than 160 countries, with a possible viewership of one billion people.
