The Band Perry Parts Ways With Big Machine Label Group

The Band Perry and The Big Machine Label Group are “DONE.”

After seven years, the sibling trio and BMLG’s Republic Nashville have parted ways. A rep from the label confirmed the news today.

The band addressed the split with a Facebook post that read: “We and Big Machine Label Group have made a mutual decision to bring our working relationship to a close. We are grateful for 6 years of the big moments and great strides we made with our BMLG family and will carry that foundation forward with us as we begin the next leg of our journey.”

During their time at Republic Nashville, The Band Perry produced several hit singles including, “If I Die Young,” “Better Dig Two,” “DONE,” “You Lie,” and “All Your Life.”

In 2014, the trio took home a GRAMMY for their version of “Gentle On My Mind.”

Most recently, The Band Perry released “Live Forever,” a track that failed to reach the Top 25 at Country radio. “Live Forever,” was set to be the lead single from their new album, Heart + Beat, but sadly, the album was put on hold and a new release date was never announced.

Last month, Kimberly, Reid, and Neil took to Facebook to address fans’ concerns about the future of the band after “Live Forever” unexpectedly disappeared from iTunes and other streaming services.

“We wanted to look you guys all in the eyes and say The Band Perry is not going anywhere,” Kimberly assured fans in a Facebook live video. “We are here to stay. Our music is here to stay.”
