The internet has been a-buzz with chatter about The Band Perry today after their latest single, “Live Forever,” suddenly disappeared from the internet. The song, and it’s accompanying music video, were removed from iTunes and other channels such as VEVO and CMT without notice last night. As the news began to spread, fans started to speculate why. The band received numerous messages across their social channels, and decided to host a live chat to address fans’ concerns this evening.

“‘Live Forever’ was pulled from iTunes, YouTube, VEVO, everything, for about 24 hours,” Kimberly Perry told fans during tonight’s Facebook Live video chat. “Team TBP was doing a little bit of housekeeping and re-organization, but we were just told that it’s back up on iTunes. Team TBP has told us that it will be back up on VEVO and YouTube in the next couple of days.”

She and her brothers, Neil and Reid, who had just landed in Los Angeles to take part in this weekend’s GRAMMY Awards festivities, thanked fans for their concerns and assured them of the future of the trio.

“We wanted to look you guys all in the eyes and say The Band Perry is not going anywhere,” Kimberly declared. “We are here to stay. Our music is here to stay.”

The GRAMMY-winning band’s latest single, “Live Forever,” was set to be the lead single from their new album, Heart + Beat. Sadly, the album was put on hold after the single peaked inside the Top 30 at Country radio. The siblings announced last fall that the album was put on hold to 2016, but no release date has since been announced.

“We want you guys to just rest easy,” Kimberly told fans. “If you were all here right now, we would love to cuddle you in our arms because you, our fans, mean the whole world to us.”

Before ending the chat, they teased that fans would be hearing big news soon, but did not clarify what the news was about or when fans would hear it.

“Coming very soon you guys are going to hear some news and we want you to know today, we said it right here…it’s great news, it’s very positive we can’t wait to talk about it with you. Every decision that we make is for you guys. It’s all about getting this music to you as quickly as possible.”
