Giving back during the holidays is a must and The Bobby Bones Show ‘sleighed’ when it came to raising a few bucks for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital…or more like $1.3 million.

The popular morning radio show hosted their own St. Jude Radiothon, where country artists popped by the studio to perform classic covers of hits that fans know and love. Everyone from Kelsea Ballerini to Lauren Alaina to Mo Pitney stopped in to give their best renditions of some inspiring tunes in order to raise money for the kids in need.

Bobby Bones is not new to the St. Jude family as he has been a dedicated supporter of the organization throughout his career. Planning trips to go visit the kids in Memphis to donating so much time to their cause, Bones was happily surprised with the success of the Radiothon than anything he’s done to help out before.

“I’m honestly blown away by the generosity of our listeners this morning,” said Bones. “The amount raised is overwhelming and donations are still coming in. With the holidays coming up, money can be tight and so it means even more that our fans have chosen to contribute to such an amazing cause. I also have to thank all of our artist friends that took part in such an important broadcast, as well as our awesome group of radio station affiliates, who always go above and beyond to support us in our charitable endeavors.”

Bones’ work with St. Jude’s doesn’t just stop there. Fans of his or people who want to begin donating to the cause can head over to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital website to start a monthly donation going or can find other ways to give during the winter months.
