Oak Ridge Boys Vince Gill Jim Ed Brown Garth Brooks Trisha Yearwood Dierks Bentley

The Country Music Hall of Family gained some new members with the induction of Jim Ed Brown and The Browns, Grady Martin, and The Oak Ridge Boys on Sunday (10/25).

The annual Medallion Ceremony was held at the CMA Theater in the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

Jim Ed, Bonnie and Maxine Brown were inducted into the “Veterans Era Artist” category. The Oak Ridge Boys were inducted into the “Modern Era Artist”category. Grady Martin was inducted into the “Recording and/or Touring Musician Active Prior to 1980” category, which is awarded every third year in a rotation with the “Non-Performer” and “Songwriter” categories.

The event also included performances by Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley, Mandy Barnett, Duane Eddy, Jeff Hanna, Carolyn Martin, Martin Family Circus, Buddy Miller, Chris Scruggs, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, The Isaacs and Pete Wade.
