Thomas Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” has claimed yet another award! The singer took home the title of Top Country Song at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.

The Georgia native accepted his award from Miss America Betty Cantrell and Shark Tank star Mark Cuban.

“Oh man, thank you guys so much. This is incredible. I gotta thank God. I gotta thank my lovely wife, sitting right here,” Rhett said. “Never in a million years did I think that being a songwriter sitting on a bus writing a song about who we love would win an award like this. Thank you Billboards, country radio, everyone on my team. We love you very much. Cheers!”

Other nominees include Little Big Town’s “Girl Crush,” Chris Young’s “I’m Comin’ Over” and Sam Hunt’s “Break Up In A Small Town” and “Take Your Time.” Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man” recently claimed him Song of the Year at the American Country Countdown Awards and Single Record of the Year at the ACM Awards.

The 2016 Billboard Music Awards are being hosted Ciara and Ludacris. The show is broadcasting live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada tonight.
