Thomas Rhett Announces Life Changes Tour for 2018
Joining Rhett for the ride will be Carly Pearce, Jillian Jacqueline, Brett Young, Midland and Russell Dickerson.
This year may be winding down quickly, but Thomas Rhett is here to stay and is taking his show on the road in 2018.
The country singer announced Monday morning (Oct. 30) that his headlining performances would travel to more cities across the U.S. under a new name: the Life Changes Tour. With the rapid success of his first major headlining tour, Rhett plans to continue the same energy into his next endeavor.
“Headlining for the first time has been pretty unreal,” Rhett said in a press release. “It’s wild to me that next year we will be launching our second year of headline shows and are bringing out some of my favorite artists in music right now. I think the fans have come to expect that we’re going to be on our feet and having the time of our lives every single night.”
Joining Rhett for the ride will be Carly Pearce, Jillian Jacqueline, Brett Young, Midland and Russell Dickerson.
Chances are Rhett will also bring a few more travel companions on the road like his two little girls, Willa Gray and Ada James, as well as his wife, Lauren Akins. Adjusting the tour bus to his family’s specifications, the “Unforgettable” singer made the vehicle into a second home on wheels for all of his loved ones to hop on board for the long haul.
“We took one whole side of bunks out and made a crib and drawers. Then on the other side, we knocked out two bunks and put two dog crates under there. So literally, there’s one bunk left on our bus. But we’re now gonna have to get rid of the dog crates and add another crib because of our two babies, so it’s pretty nuts,” Rhett revealed to Sounds Like Nashville and other media at a previous event.
The Life Changes Tour kicks off in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on April 5 and takes a break in mid-May before returning back for the fall months of September and October. Fans can look more into venues and ticket prices on Rhett’s official website.
