Thomas Rhett will be taking a night off of daddy duty pretty soon as he just got tapped to be a part of the judges’ panel at the Miss America 2018 pageant.

The country star will join celebrity guests including singer Jordin Sparks, model Molly Sims and People editor Jess Cagle. Chris Harrison, host of ABC’s Bachelor programs, and ESPN’s Sage Steel will return as the event’s co-hosts for the evening.

Tweeting his excitement about the big pageant news, Rhett confirmed he’d see everyone there on September 10 along with a retweet of the Miss America announcement on their own account.

Rhett isn’t the first country singer to help out at the competition. His buddy and former CMA Fest co-host Brett Eldredge took to the table back in 2015, and Cole Swindell had the honor of attending at the panel back in 2016. The “Star of the Show” singer can grab some good advice from his fellow colleagues on what (and what not) to do during the show, just as Eldredge did for Swindell last time around.

“You have to keep a straight face and you don’t show your cards, but you can’t give away your favorite one and you just have to be a pro judge,” Eldredge previously explained.

Timing falls right into place for Rhett on this professional endeavor, as his anticipated album, Life Changes, will be released on September 9. The album will feature tracks such as his No. 1 duet with Maren Morris, “Craving You,” “Unforgettable,” “Sixteen” and many more.

The Miss America 2018 pageant will be held in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on September 10.
