Thomas Rhett Reveals Wife’s Pregnancy Cravings

Thomas Rhett may be singing about “Craving You” on the radio, but it’s actually his wife that’s become addicted to her food desires of choice.

Only a couple weeks out from her estimated due date of August 8, Rhett’s wife Lauren has experienced her share of pregnancy cravings from day one. Instead of letting work get in the way of this time together as soon-to-be parents, Rhett has embraced becoming the shoulder Lauren can lean on and also giving her everything she wants, including that second or third bowl of dessert when she wants it.

“Ice cream is her normal life craving and it’s intensified when she’s pregnant. So we always keep our freezer pretty stocked full of different flavors of ice cream,” the singer explained. “But I just feel bad for her, like I know how uncomfortable she is and how ready she is to just have the baby. So there’s nothing much I can do about that except be a support system.”

So far, Rhett’s been a big help with their daughter Willa Gray. From taking her up on stage during his shows, to going on a vacation down to the beach with his entire family, the country singer takes great honor in his new role as father no matter where he is.

He’ll continue to develop into his dad lifestyle by even renovating his tour bus into a family-friendly space. Since the Rhett family spends a lot of time traveling across the country to perform to sold-out crowds everywhere, the “T-Shirt” singer just wanted to keep his little ones comfortable when they get to tag along with their daddy when he heads out for his concert runs.

Rhett current single, “Craving You,” can be heard on country radio and his follow-up single, “Unforgettable,” off his forthcoming record will be available to stream come this Friday.
