Thompson Square’s Keifer and Shawna Thompson Welcome Baby Boy

Congratulations are in order for Thompson Square’s Keifer and Shawna Thompson. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into the world today.

Rigney Cooper Thompson made his debut this morning at 3:46 am ET.

“God blessed us this morning with a little 7 pound 13 oz miracle,” the couple told E! News. “It’s hard to explain this kind of love. We’re so overjoyed. He’s already got us wrapped around his little finger.”

According to E! News, the name Rigney comes from Shawna’s side of the family and was her grandmother’s maiden name.

The couple announced the pregnancy in August teasing, “WELL……WE HAVE DECIDED NOT TO BE A DUO ANYMORE!!!!!!!” In September, they shared the news that Baby Thompson was a boy with an adorable gender reveal video.

Keifer and Shawna have been married for 16 years. They first rose to fame 2010 with the release of their GRAMMY nominated single, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not.”
