Throwback to the Time Brad Paisley Was a Co-Conspirator for a Surprise Proposal

Brad Paisley has a reputation for conspiring to pull off on-stage pranks during his tour. But in 2015, he traded in his tricks of jest for tricks of sentiment to help a fan surprise his girlfriend with a proposal she would never forget.

Before Paisley began singing “Then” during his Morgantown tour stop, the legendary guitar player invited a front row couple on stage to slow dance while he serenaded. Everything is going great until halfway through the tune, Paisley stops and taps his new friend on the shoulder to ask if he’s ready.

“You ready? You got your note? This is for your eyes only, this is what he held up a little bit ago,” Paisley said as he held up a piece of paper to the crowd with the word ‘proposal?’ scribbled on it. “Now do your thing.”

The gentleman gets on one knee and pops the question. He is met with a joyful “Yes!” and a roar of screams from the crowd.

The newly engaged couple finished out their slow dance as Paisley finished his song and everyone lived happily ever after.

The proposal wasn’t the last time Paisley helped make a couple’s dreams come true. Since then, the “Last Time For Everything” singer has assisted in many a proposal and several gender reveals, many of which were chronicled in his music video for the song “Today.”
