Brett Eldredge is among country music’s top acts, scoring multiple No. 1 singles, releasing two full length records plus a Christmas album and touring with some pretty big names. But if we rewind just three years ago to August of 2013, he was just happy that his single, “Don’t Ya,” reached the top of the charts.

He was so excited, that he indeed couldn’t hide it and celebrated by jumping out of a plane.

“I made a bet with my crew that if “Don’t Ya” went No.1 I’d go skydiving….in a week, look up in the sky at the dude peeing his pants!” he dished to his fans via Twitter all those years ago.

Eldredge made good on his bet and took to the sky. He probably wasn’t as calm and collected as he hoped he’d be and the picture he posted to Instagram verified that. But in his defense, we’d all probably have the same reaction.

“On a scale of one to sh** my pants, how scared do you think I was here! Ha,” he captioned the adrenaline-filled photo.

Since the release of “Don’t Ya,” the country star has racked up four more No. 1 singles. He hasn’t pulled off daredevil stunts to celebrate all of his success, but he did honor “Beat of the Music’s” chart-reign by swimming with sharks. He just has a little catching up to do.

Eldredge’s current single, “Wanna Be That Song,” finds itself near the top of the charts, so stay tuned to see what he does next.
