Tim McGraw Dedicates ‘My Little Girl’ To Daughter Gracie

Back-to-school time is never easy for a parent, especially when they’re sending their children to college for the first time. The same can be said for Tim McGraw, who recently dropped off his eldest daughter, Gracie, at college.

During his Sundown Heaven Town Tour, McGraw has been sharing behind-the-scenes videos with his fans and dedicated the most recent one to Gracie. In the black and white clip, he performed his 2006 hit (cue the tears!), “My Little Girl.”

“Alright, this is for Gracie,” McGraw says, while holding back tears. “We dropped you off at college this weekend. I just want you to go kick a–.”

This isn’t the first time McGraw has had the spotlight on his first child with Faith Hill. During his tour stop in Nashville, he brought Gracie up on stage to sing a song they recorded together, “Here Tonight.” The song may be a taste of what’s to come on the presumably new album McGraw has been teasing fans with.
