Tim McGraw

Tim McGraw is hard at work on a number of things. He’s wrapping up his summer tour, preparing to release a new album, and in the process of filming for his role in the upcoming movie, “The Shack.”

While he can’t reveal too much about the film, McGraw is noticeably getting into character for it. He has recently been sporting some facial hair “because it’s part of the character.”

Other than that tidbit, McGraw says, “I’m sworn to secrecy, I can’t say too much, but anybody’s that read the book knows that’s it’s a fantastic book and it’s very heavy and life changing and some great people are in it.”

“The Shack” is a faith-based drama that tells the story of a family whose youngest daughter is abducted while they’re on vacation. Four years after her disappearance, the father receives a note, which he believes to be from God, telling him to return to the shack where authorities believe his daughter was murdered.

“The Shack” marks McGraw’s 10th movie.
