Tim McGraw Placed On Vocal Rest, Forced To Cancel Final Shotgun Rider Tour Dates

Tim McGraw is ill and has been placed on vocal rest by his doctor. Due to his condition, McGraw has been forced to cancel the final two shows of his Shotgun Rider Tour.

Tonight’s show at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA and tomorrow’s concert at Irvine Meadows Amphitheater in Irvine, CA have both been cancelled.

“This is so disappointing to me. We’ve had such a great summer and I was looking forward to this final weekend with the fans in California,” McGraw said in a statement posted to his website this afternoon. “I appreciate the support and look forward to coming back soon. The word ‘can’t’ is just not in my DNA, if there was any way I could sing, I would do it.”

Fans who purchased tickets will receive a full refund.
