What does “Humble and Kind” mean to Tim McGraw? Fans.

McGraw announced a contest that fans can enter in order to help him out on the big stage at the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards. Posted via Facebook, McGraw encouraged his followers to think about how they relate to his single, “Humble and Kind.”

The official contest rules state that in order to enter, one must take a picture of themselves holding a sign with a word they associate with the hit song’s message. This word can be anything from an adjective to a noun to a verb and must be posted to either Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag, #HumbleAndKindACMs. Applicants must be over 18 years of age and a resident of the United States, but the most important part is that the submission must be meaningful.

Not only do the fans keep McGraw humble and kind, but he also notes he wants to pass that value on to his daughters as they continue to grow up.

“I think, in the times that we live in, it’s an important song, by itself, just by what it says,” McGraw explained recently. “Being a dad, and having daughters—one just went off to college, and another one that goes off to college next year; she graduates in May. My youngest daughter’s starting high school. So you start looking at the world in a different way than you’ve been looking at it without having kids.”

The 51st ACM Awards will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and air live on CBS at 8 p.m. EST on April 3.
