Celebrate the Holidays with Trisha Yearwood’s Christmas in a Cup
The new mix is a flavor combination of ruby red pomegranate, cranberry juices, tangerine and lime!
Months after launching her Summer in a Cup cocktail mix, Trisha Yearwood is back at it with another specialty drink mixer, Christmas in a Cup. In a partnership with Williams Sonoma, the “She’s in Love with the Boy” singer combined the flavors of ruby red pomegranate, cranberry juices, tangerine and lime to create a one-of-a-kind treat.
“We did a summer promotion with Williams-Sonoma called Summer in a Cup, which came out of a drink that my friend Mandy over there created a few years ago, and it did really well. We like that in a cup vibe and so we decided to do something for Christmas,” explained Yearwood to Sounds Like Nashville and other media recently. “It’s kind of a cranberry, tangerine, lime, not super, super sweet. I’m really big on cocktails tasting good without alcohol, and then of course, if you want to add alcohol, which I don’t know why you wouldn’t, but I mean if you don’t want to add alcohol you don’t have to.”
The cocktail mix pairs perfectly with “vodka or sparkling wine to bubbly mineral water,” Yearwood recommends.
In addition to Christmas in a Cup, Yearwood’s Summer in a Cup, Unfried Chicken Seasoning Kit, Biscuit Mix, Apple BBQ Sauce and Applewood Molasses Rub are all available through the Williams Sonoma website.
Fans can snuggle up with their Christmas in a Cup and watch Yearwood perform some classic Christmas songs when this year’s CMA Country Christmas re-airs on Saturday, December 23, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
