Trisha Yearwood is trading in music for fashion this October when she is set to serve as a celebrity host for a charity fashion show in Franklin, Tenn.

The event, dubbed Heroes in Heels, will benefit After Breast Cancer, “a program for survivors by survivors that provides education and healing for body, mind and spirit after a breast cancer diagnosis.” All proceeds from the fashion show will go directly toward the group’s initiatives providing women with post treatment care.

During Heroes in Heels, more than 25 breast cancer patients and survivors will walk the runway displaying Dillard’s newest fall fashions.

This event hits close to home for Yearwood who has been personally affected by breast cancer.

“This cause is near to my heart because I lost my mom to breast cancer,” Yearwood said. “These women are an inspiration and I’m so excited to be a part of the event.”

Heroes in Heels will take place Tuesday, Oct. 4 at Liberty Hall in Factory of Franklin. The event will start at 6:30 PM, $60 in advance and $70 at the door. More information can be found HERE.
