Tucker Beathard set the record straight about who he is as an artist with the release of his rock-influenced single, “Rock On,” and he’s not stopping his fearless musical journey anytime soon with the upcoming release of his debut album called Dear Someone.

Growing up as a songwriter’s kid in the heart of Music City, Beathard became influenced by a number of outside factors but it was his passion for 90s rock bands and knowledge of country that fused into the 13 tracks on his first-ever full-length release. Hoping for fans to gravitate toward the underdog themes scattered throughout the record, Beathard wanted to give his side of the story in a relatable way for his debut project.

“For me, it’s not about doing anything more than what I love and just making music and sharing with whoever really wants to attach themselves to it. That’s kinda where I got the title, Dear Someone. I didn’t wanna go with a stereotypical ‘pick a track, call it that,’ ‘cause I feel like it’s more of a project and there’s a whole message behind each song and each song has a certain kind of emotion and message that I feel passionate about. Playing shows and doing everything and see it relate to people…it means more to me when you actually win somebody over and make a difference in their life, kinda like music has done for me,” Beathard explained to Sounds Like Nashville and other media during an album listening event.

The album will feature a total of 13 tracks, with six of the songs from his Fight Like Hell EP, and seven originals written over the past few years. Fan favorites holding listings on Dear Someone include “Rock On,” “20-10 Tennessee” and “Momma and Jesus.”

Dear Someone will release on Friday, November 17.
