Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard and his wife Hayley are well on their way to becoming new parents. The couple will eagerly welcome their daughter at the end of December after a whirlwind year.

As they await the arrival of their precious baby girl, the couple has fully embraced the journey to parenthood, including the pregnancy cravings that go with it. Currently stocked in their house, you ask?

“There’s a lot of carbs in our house right now,” Hubbard told PEOPLE with a laugh on the 2017 CMT Artists of the Year red carpet. “We are a couple of months out and she’s past the sick phase. So, we are rocking and rolling and ready for the end of December to get here.”

Tyler and Hayley have been go-with-the flow throughout their pregnancy, even when their gender reveal turned out to be wrong. Just weeks after learning they were having a boy, the pair discovered that their blood test was misread and that they’d be having a little princess instead.

“Gods got jokes……After thinking we are having a boy for the last few months, turns out the blood test was wrong and we’re actually having a little girl. Woe… so many emotions but really really excited about this next chapter even if God does like throwing us a curve ball every now and then. Just keeping us on our toes. #daddysgirl,” revealed Hubbard on Instagram.

“Baby Hubbard’s keeping us on our toes & has another announcement to make!! It’s not a boy! It’s a GIRL!!! our hearts are exploding with joy all over again! And shock! And excitement,” added Hayley.

On top of embracing the pregnancy cravings, Tyler and Hayley have been keeping quite busy, criss-crossing the country. Recently, they spent some time in San Francisco and also enjoyed some down time in Sun Valley, Idaho with fellow country stars Jason Aldean and Russell Dickerson.
