The coaches on season 14 of The Voice are fiercely battling for the brightest new talent as the third day of blind auditions continue. With contestants more diverse than ever before, Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Levine and Alicia Keys are keeping their ears open for unprecedented talent.

Shelton, a six time victor of the singing competition, earned two more members of his team when he picked up 30-year-old Brett Hunter and Rat Packer Austin Giorgio.

Hunter, who currently lives with his brother (they shared a bed!), has been pursuing his dream of music for years. He finally had his shot when he stepped center stage for a performance of “She’s A Bad Mama Jama” by Carl Carlton. Though Shelton was the only coach to turn around, he blew the coaches away once they learned he’d played the song on the ukulele. “I have the next Tiny Tim!” declared Shelton.

Also joining Shelton’s team was Austin Giorgia, who sang “How Sweet It Is (to Be Loved By You).” “I’m telling you guys, [my performance is] gonna be nuts,” the hopeful declared in his pre-performance video package. The performance got turns from Shelton and Clarkson, though Levine advised the showman to concentrate more on his vocals than performance.

Though Shelton earned two more members to his established team, he fought hard for singer Johnny Bliss, who performed “Preciosa” by Marc Anthony. He was by far the best vocalist of the night, earning four chairs turned. Levine blocked Clarkson, so she was out of the running, but Shelton fought his best to get Bliss on his team. It was Levine who won out on the four-chair turn and celebrated his victory with his quintessential gloating.

Fans can catch another round of blind auditions on Tuesday, March 6 and keep up with season 14 of The Voice as it continues on Monday and Tuesday nights.
