Love is never the easy fight as seen in the new emotional music video for Maren Morris’ current single, “I Could Use a Love Song.”

A woman is stuck between following a dream and following her heart in the video as she starts a life with a man who doesn’t understand her true passion for dance. Reminding him over and over again about her aspiration to become a professional dancer out in the entertainment capital of the world, the boyfriend continues to put the idea down in hopes that settling for reality is enough for her life.

Arguments arise in tune with the climax of the song, as the once loved-up couple confronts their differing opinions head-on in a nasty screamfest while facing the music. Breaking glasses while breaking hearts, the couple appears to reach a tumultuous end to their previous happy-go-lucky relationship due to the misunderstanding of hope and actuality.

Pirouetting her way out the door, the girl leaves what she once knew as the love of her life for the true passion she desires: going for her ambition to dance.

“I Could Use a Love Song” marks Morris’ third single off her debut record, HERO, which sent shock-waves throughout the country community last year when it released. The track follows up the radio successes of “My Church” and “80s Mercedes.”

Check out the new video for “I Could Use a Love Song” now and be sure to catch Morris on the road for her newly extended HERO Tour this summer and fall.
