And baby makes three!

Congratulations are in order for for Waterloo Revival’s George Birge and his wife Kara Lee! The couple recently welcomed their first child together, a baby boy named George James. Birge revealed the exciting news in a post on the band’s social media, with a sweet photo of the new family.

“We started our little family today,” Birge wrote. “Welcome to the world George James Birge you made us the happiest people in the world today!”

The family will be starting their lives together in Nashville, as both Birge and his bandmate Cody Cooper recently relocated from Austin, TX to Nashville, TN.

Cooper also recently expanded his family when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend Emily Johnson in Cancun, Mexico. “Feliz Navidad from the future Mr. & Mrs. Cooper! #SheSaidYes” he wrote on Instagram last month with a photo showcasing her new bling.

While the duo spends time celebrating their life-changing news, they are also busy preparing to release new music, via Show Dog Nashville, this year. Waterloo Revival is best known for their songs “Bad For You” and “Hit The Road.”
