Rising superstar Chase Rice was a fan-favorite at Boots & Hearts festival Oro-Medonte, Ontario. Thousands of concert-goers welcomed the singer/songwriter with open arms as he took the main stage Sunday evening.

Singing his hits like “That’s How She Rolls,” “Gonna Wanna Tonight,” and “Ready Set Roll,” the North Carolina native owned the stage throughout his 90-minute set. He also previewed what’s to come on his next album with his brand new single, “Everybody We Know Does.”

Rice slowed things down a bit with a sexy performance of “Ride” from the deluxe version of his 2014 Ignite the Night album. He pulled a lucky female fan named Priscilla on stage for the song, and she bashfully smiled and sang along the entire time he was serenading her.

Rice’s stage presence and confidence makes us wonder if he took a few notes from eight-time Entertainer of the Year Kenny Chesney when he toured with him last summer. There’s really no one better to learn from, right?! Fans can catch him on his Everybody We Know Does Tour this fall.

Prior to Rice’s performance the legendary group Diamond Rio brought their live show to the Front Porch Stage, where fans sang along to nearly every word. The band has so many hits that their set was essentially a greatest hits album come to life. It was 90s country at it’s finest and fans loved every second.

Dylan Scott and Lindsay Ell had overlapping sets at the Front Porch Stage and Main Stage respectively. Each drew an impressive crowd.

James Barker Band, who is gaining major traction with their summer jam “Lawn Chair Lazy,” performed on the festival’s main stage mid-afternoon. The group has super catchy songs and quite the fan-base! We’ll be rooting for them, for sure. (Watch the band get surprised on stage by Dierks Bentley HERE)
