Carrie Underwood Admits To Breaking The Cardinal Hair Rule

Superstar Carrie Underwood may be known for her gorgeous blonde locks, but Oklahoma native admits she breaks the No.1 hair rule on a daily basis.

“I’m an everyday washer…I know, it’s terrible and I’ve tried to get away from it but blonde hair is a little different,” she tells Us Weekly.

While she knows it may not be the best way to keep her hair healthy, the 32-year-old does have a good reason for washing her hair daily. “I have to! I work out in the morning!” the new mom shares. “So I’m getting sweaty. I just need to shower.”

One would assume she wouldn’t have much use for dry shampoo since she washes everyday, but Underwood discovered a different use for the product. “I love dry shampoo. That’s something that’s really great,” she tells the publication. “It adds texture. When you add it to your roots you can use the back comb just a little bit and it can give you a little more volume.”
