Carly Pearce may be on the road during Valentine's Day this year, but that's not stopping her from enjoying the things she loves on the romantic holiday.

Carly Pearce is a country newcomer that seems to have ‘Every Little Thing’ together in her life, from knowing her sound to styling herself head-to-toe in all of the hottest style trends. Being a woman who loves all things beauty, fashion and more makes her the ultimate guide to the glam life.

In Pearce’s latest blog for Sounds Like Nashville, she gives fans the inside scoop on her personal plans for the upcoming romantic holiday. As a happily taken woman, Pearce finds herself looking forward to spending time with the one she loves dearly, but sometimes, their careers can make it hard to find the time to squeeze in that perfect date. Pearce won’t let her time on the road stop her from having an incredible Valentine’s Day, chocolates and wine included!

Valentine’s Day can often be a day filled with a lot of pressure to go big and over the top. Pair that with being a traveling musician and it can feel downright overwhelming! That’s why my advice on this “big day” is don’t sweat it! Focus less on making this day extravagant and more on who you spend it with! Valentine’s Day shouldn’t be the one day of the year you show the people you love that you love them. You should do it on all the other days of the year, too!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for showing love on this special day, but I don’t need all the bells and whistles. Give me take-out and wine and I’m a happy girl! If you’re like me and are looking for a low-key night in, you can try making chocolate covered strawberries! My boyfriend and I stayed in and did that one year (this way you can eat as many as you want and make more ;)). Pair them with wine (lots), and you’re set. Too bad we can’t always make this happen every year!

This year, since my boyfriend and I are both musicians, we will both be on the road in separate cities on Valentine’s Day. So, we will spend time together the day before keeping it pretty low-key (looking at you take out & wine).

As for the big day, I will be on my radio tour, so I will be spending my Valentine’s Day with my two bandmates celebrating how much they mean to me, as well as this incredible journey we’ve had so far. They both have significant others they can’t be with as well, but at least we can share in our mutual love of music and our love for each other.

At the end of the day whether you’re single or not, this day can be about celebrating any loving relationship you have, from friends to family. One day you’ll have a special someone to spend it with. So for this year just enjoy pampering yourself and enjoying the people that are around right now. And if you still need a little pump up to get through the day check out my playlist below:
