While Boots & Hearts Festival may be over, we’re still holding on to all the memories we made while hanging out at the Canadian country festival. Can we go back please?

The festival was filled with fun performances from a number of country artists from the U.S. and Canada. Dierks Bentley and Sam Hunt pumped up the crowd with their epic performances from night two and Blake Shelton got the crowd laughing and singing as always during his set. Even Chase Rice and James Barker Band blew festivalgoers away with their energetic shows.

Although we focused mainly on the music, Sounds Like Nashville couldn’t help but notice some of the obvious fashion trends worn by many attendees. While some took on the festival fashion uniform all their own, others traveled in squads of the same look to solidify their presence over the long weekend.

We captured a few of the biggest trends we saw while exploring the grounds and wanted to let you in on what to wear for your festival fashion!

1. Jorts on men

Now we know what you’re thinking: jorts can be a little…much. But the men followed suit with the ladies by making their own Levi cutoffs and pairing them with the (subtle) shirtless look. Hey, if the jorts make you happy and comfortable, we’re all for it!

2. The red flannel wrap-around

This 90s-inspired trend has come back in a big way, especially at Boots & Hearts. While flannels of all shapes and shades were worn, it definitely came through that red was the color of choice for this festival. Besides, this fashion look is both cute and versatile—nothing beats keeping a cover-up handy when the sun goes down and the night gets cooler.

3. Men’s overalls

We’ll admit overalls are great attire for a campground atmosphere. Just a couple snaps and you’re ready to rock! And who cares about if they get dirty or not because they’re easy to clean and made of strong material a.k.a denim. Farmers and country folk would approve and that’s the spirit that truly counts!

4. Squad “uniforms”

Establishing your power as a squad is very important to the squad life. At Boots & Hearts, there were a big number of girls (and guys!) who all pow-wowed together and did it in their own style, establishing a head-to-toe look to match each individual. Side note: this is genius if any of the squad members tend to get lost or wander off the beaten path, which seems to happen more often than not at festivals.

What was your favorite look that you saw at Boots & Hearts Festival or any other summer festivals this year? Let us know!
