Known as one of country music’s most stylish women, Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town took her fashionable eye to the design studio to create her own clothing line, “Fair Child,” for Macy’s Department Stores.

Debuting on the floor this October, Fairchild combined her edgy trendsetting red carpet looks with her rock-influenced concert outfits to create the ultimate chic high-end fashions. From some of her all-time essentials like vegan leather leggings to feminine chiffon blouses, Fairchild contrasts the subtle avant-garde looks with flowy pieces to show women that they can be both prim and cool.

Music may be Fairchild’s first true love, but fashion doesn’t fall too far behind—in return, designing a clothing line was just another dimension of her inner expression.“The real reason I’m making clothes is because I like clothes…I love clothes,” said Fairchild.

“Outside of writing songs and performing, it’s definitely my passion. I view it a lot like telling a story in a song. I think an outfit tells a story, and I think when there’s something interesting or surprising or a little twist, that’s what makes a great song and it’s the same thing that makes a great outfit. I’m so grateful to Macy’s for giving me this opportunity.”

Pieces from “Fair Child” range between prices of $39 to $149, respectively, and can be found on Macys.com. A select number of Macy’s stores, including in Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, and Memphis, carry the line in stores. Fans can find more about the clothes by heading to the Macy’s website to take a peek at what Fairchild has to offer.
