Mickey Guyton Searches for the Perfect ACM Awards Dress
We tagged along for Mickey Guyton's ACM dress fitting, where she gave us a first-look at the fabulous gowns her stylist hand-picked for her.
Country Music’s Party of the Year, the 51st Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, is just days away. Preparation for the the show is already underway, and like many artists, Mickey Guyton is on the hunt for the perfect red carpet look.
The “Why Baby Why” singer is not only attending the show as a nominated artist, she’s also set to host Sounds Like Nashville’s ACM Awards red carpet coverage, so she called upon celebrity stylist Katy Robbins to help her find a glamorous gown. SLN tagged along for Guyton’s dress fitting at the 1808 Grille at Nashville’s Hutton Hotel, where she gave us a first-look at the fabulous gowns her stylist hand-picked for her.
“You definitely want to stand out,” Guyton told us of selecting the perfect dress. “That’s my main goal here…bright colors that look beautiful on my skin. I want to look beautiful.”

The 51st Academy Of Country Music Awards, co-hosted by Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley, will be broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Sunday, April 3 at 8:00PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
