Sara Evans to Perform at 2016 Symphony Fashion Show

Bring out your favorite little black dress and strap on your highest heels because Sara Evans has been announced as the featured entertainer for the 2016 Symphony Fashion Show.

The high-fashion evening will honor the great talent of fashion designer Carolina Herrera at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville on April 26. The 11th annual showcase event partners Herrera and her designs together with Gus Mayer of Nashville and the Nashville Symphony to support the Nashville Symphony education and community programs.

The glamorous night out will join Evans together with honorary chairman Nicole Kidman and celebrity chairman Lily Aldridge to bring the festivities all together for a good time. Herrera’s designs will be shown off through a runway show, followed by an after party for all in attendance that night.

Evans, who has a passion for the fashion world, was thrilled over the honor of performing.

“I’m extremely honored to be a part of the 2016 Nashville Symphony Fashion Show,” said Evans in a press release. “I have a deep love of fashion, and Carolina Herrera’s designs have always been some of my favorites. I can’t wait to perform and see what everyone’s wearing!”

Sylvia Bradbury and Suzanne Smothers, co-chairs of the 2016 Nashville Symphony Fashion Show, could not agree more with their selection of Evans.

“With her stunning voice, distinct country-crossover sound and incredible beauty and grace, Sara Evans is the perfect choice for this celebration of Carolina Herrera’s 35 years in fashion,” they said.

Tickets and information for this en vogue occasion are available through the Nashville Symphony’s website. Proceeds will benefit music education programs in their instruction and scholarship departments, as well as many other important aspects to the community classes provided.
