Getting dressed up for any red carpet is definitely a daunting task on its own, but with the 50th Annual CMA Awards quickly approaching, the country artists are all abuzz with what (or who!) they are wearing.

In order to honor the traditions of the past and properly celebrate such a momentous occasion like the 50th anniversary of the awards show, CMA issued out a black-tie attire recommendation for the carpet and the stars are coming out in full force to rock the fancy fashion for the night.

Rather than questioning what the best looks are for the season in their own time, many artists enlist the advice from some of the best stylists in Nashville to give them the 411 on what to wear in order to honor the dress code as well as show off their individual personalities.

From funky textured materials to custom-made suits to all things glitter, we talked to some of the stylists, including John Murphy, The Showroom’s Danielle van Belkom and Kristin Geyser, Courtney Kivela Robinson, and Lee Wright, to get their take on the guide to glam for the 50th Annual CMA Awards. Take a peek at what trends they expect to see on the carpet and what looks they pull out for their A-list clients in the exclusive fashion preview from Sounds Like Nashville.

The 50th Annual CMA Awards will air live from Nashville on Wednesday, November 2, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
