Country newcomer Jordan Davis quickly made a splash on the scene with his debut single, “Singles You Up.” The track caught the eye of Kip Moore, who invited the Louisiana native out on his Plead the Fifth Tour. Davis also landed a coveted spot on the lineup for the 2018 Stagecoach Festival among stars like Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban and Garth Brooks.
To keep the momentum going, Davis has been hard at work on his full-length debut album, which he hopes will show fans a bit of his personality, both the funny and serious parts.
“There’s definitely some other stuff like ‘Singles You Up’ on there. We have a song on there called ‘More Than I Know,’ which is really kind of fun, kind of in the ‘Singles You Up’ vein. A song called ‘Take it From Me,’ that’s on the record that I love to play out. But then there’s some other stuff on there, like the airplane song is called ‘Leaving New Orleans.’ I have a song on there called ‘Don’t Do Lonely Well.’ It’s probably the newest song on the record that I really dig, and I think it’s a really good song. It’s definitely a good introduction to the sound and the production of the record, but there’s definitely going to be some heavier songs on there as well,” Davis previously said to Sounds Like Nashville about his upcoming project.
As Davis gears up for a big year in 2018, Sounds Like Nashville has teamed up with the singer to give fans a chance to win some signed merchandise. One lucky grand prize winner will take home an autographed Jordan Davis JDNDVS Trucker Cap and an autographed copy of Jordan’s Tour EP.
