Pistol Annies fans rejoice! The trio, comprised of Miranda Lambert, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley, are back with a new album and three preview tracks.

Interstate Gospel, the group’s third album and their first in five years, is available for pre-order and fans who make their early purchase can download three new tracks: “Interstate Gospel,” “Best Years of My Life” and “Got My Name Changed Back.”

The singers have been teasing hints from the upcoming release, which will drop Nov. 2. They’ve also shared messages about the album, sharing that it will be, in parts, autobiographical.

“The best way to describe this record is that it sounds like three women came unleashed and told a bunch of truth. We didn’t hold back and we’re proud of it,” read a note the trio posted, which was later reposted by a fan.

In fact, “Best Years of My Life” includes some extremely personal lyrics that could apply to any of the three singers, but with Lambert singing lead it’s hard not to apply the lyrics to her own love life.

“I was looking forward to staying here forever ’cause you asked me to / didn’t think that I could do better so I settled down in this 10 cent town / it’s about to break me / I’m gonna mix a drink and try to drown this worthlessness / call mom and tell her I’m alright / well he don’t love me but he ain’t gonna get/ these are the best years of my life,” sings Lambert in the twangy track.

Known for their outspoken ways and haunting harmonies, the Annies have been a fan favorite since their debut in 2011. When it was time to tease the new album, they went straight to those fans with a series of clues about the album by sending postcards with lyrics and cryptic notes.

To celebrate the release of “Interstate Gospel” Pistol Annies will hit the road for three intimate performances, described as “the Annies’ way of inviting their fans into their living room to hang, talk, laugh and commiserate about real life while singing their own kind of country music.” The group will play Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium on October 25, NYC’s The Town Hall on November 2 and LA’s The Novo on November 7. Tickets go on sale on Friday, October 5.
