CMT Pemieres New Josh Abbott Band Video

Independent Texas act Josh Abbott Band’s new video “Touch” from their upcoming album Small Town Family Dreams premiered earlier this week on CMT.

The emotionally-charged video for “Touch” stars Josh Abbott alongside another famous Texan, television personality and star of an upcoming CMT series, Melissa Rycroft. Rycroft’s husband Tye Strickland also appears in the video. “Touch” was directed by Evan Kaufmann.

“Growing up in my house, I remember watching CMT as a family. You hadn’t ‘made it’ unless you had a video on there. It feels surreal, almost like a movie, that now they’re playing one of mine,” said Abbott. “Mom is gonna be one proud and happy momma.”
