Football fans will be gathering around the television come Sunday afternoon for the biggest game of the season: the Super Bowl. As a lover of the sport itself, Chris Young will be among the millions tuning into the battle between the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots.

Although Young may be stoked for Sunday’s game to start, he admits on being a little bit unsure about his pick to win the trophy. As a self-proclaimed Dallas Cowboy fan, he’s just looking forward to a good game rather than supporting his favorite team.

“It’s tough, you know I’ve got a lot of friends that are Patriots fans and they looked really really good but so did Atlanta. You know, it was a little bit bittersweet for me ‘cause you know I am a Cowboys fan. We had a really good year but to lose to Green Bay and then see them get crushed, I mean I just have no idea at this point. I’ll probably make my pick like day of and decide who I am rooting for cause I don’t really necessarily have a tie to either team…but you got to have somebody that you get behind the day of and I always enjoy watching the Super Bowl. So Just looking forward to it. I think it’s going to be a good game,” said Young recently.

One person Young definitely will be keeping his eyes out for is his fellow country friend, Luke Bryan, who is set to perform the National Anthem before the big event. Taking on the honor for the country community as a whole, Young plans to root for Bryan throughout his patriotic performance on Sunday.

“Yeah man, mean love Luke,” he said. “Obviously done a bunch of shows with him and been around him a lot over the years…so having him get to be a part of the TV moment there at the super bowl this year is going to be pretty awesome.”

The 2017 Super Bowl, with the Falcons versus the Patriots, will kick off at approximately 6:30 ET on Sunday, February 5, airing on FOX.
