Jon Pardi is getting feet stomping with the new video for his current Top 5 single, “Dirt On My Boots.” The black & white clip showcases shots of the California native performing onstage while his leading lady gets a little dusty out on the farm, then cleans up to join her man at the show.

“Dirt On My Boots” is the follow-up single to Pardi’s first No.1, “Head Over Boots,” from his California Sunrise album and is one that he couldn’t be more proud of.

“I really connected to the lyrics of it,” Pardi shares. “It’s very country lyrics. It has tractors. It has cutting a rug. My favorite [line] — ‘I can get cleaned up, but I can only get so fancy,’ and I loved it. It was a great written country lyric, and I really think we made it more of a traditional feel with a modern flare to it, and I was really proud of that track.”

On top of his already impressive year, Pardi notched is very first ACM nomination with a spot in the New Male Vocalist of the Year Presented By T-Mobile category for the upcoming 52nd Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The ACM Awards will broadcast live from the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 2 (live 8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network.
