Over the last couple years, Blake Shelton and Jimmy Fallon developed a bromance unlike many others in the entertainment industry. Poking fun at one another, the two guys couldn’t help but keep the audience in stitches during Shelton’s recent The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon appearance on Monday night (Oct. 30).

As always, Fallon enjoys playing up the over-exaggerated Southern style that Shelton embodies in his music and personality. Throughout the entire interview, the talk show host continued to egg Shelton on by asking silly questions over the title of the country singer’s forthcoming record, Texoma Shore, and why he decided to join the restaurant business with Ole Red.

Shelton stayed stern-faced questions after question, maintaining his professional sarcastic look to bypass any teasing that Fallon tossed at him. Although everything they discussed came off as a hilarious chat, the “I’ll Name the Dogs” singer didn’t take any of Fallon’s slighted comments to heart.

The two got over their discrepancies for a game of Caramel Apple Russian Roulette, where the show doused eight apples and four onions in the candied concoction for Shelton and Fallon to hopefully selected the yummy treat rather than the dupe. Letting Shelton go first, he made it clear that he wasn’t too pleased about playing the game of chance.

“I’m only here because Seth Meyers is booked,” Shelton joked before sealing his onion fate with a bite of the faux caramel delight.

Losing rather quickly by biting into two onion sticks, Shelton quickly recovered from the deficit by rolling his eyes over the situations that Fallon put him in all night long.

Shelton quickly recovered from his deficit on the talk show with a performance of a new track off of his anticipated album called “At the House.”

Fans will be able to pick up a copy of Texoma Shore in stores and from digital retailers on Friday, November 3.
