Look out world! Country legend Dolly Parton is down to join the “Old Town Road” remix club … or is she?

The inescapable country/rap smash by Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus has now been at the top of the Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 chart for 15 weeks, but sometimes it seems like the track hasn’t even reached its final version yet. On Monday (July 15), the breakout rapper playfully tweeted that he’d like to get Parton on a remix of the remix, writing “Y’all think i can get Dolly Parton and Megan Thee Stallion on a Old Town Road remix?”

With a response that truly deserves to break the internet, Parton responded perfectly, posting a photoshopped image of a pink pony to represent her galloping alongside Lil Nas X’s black beauty and Cyrus’ brown stallion. It seems like Parton’s tweet was just for fun, but stranger things have happened …

Lil Nas X has reached out to others about re-doing the track as well, even releasing a new version of this year’s summer anthem with Young Thug and Mason Ramsey – better known as the viral sensation, “Walmart Yodeling Kid.” He set his sights on another iconic female artist as well, asking pop giant Mariah Carey how she would feel about joining the “Old Town Road” team. Her answer?
