King Calaway’s Chris Deaton is officially off the market after marrying Molli Benson in Thompson Station, TN.

The couple wed during a candlelit ceremony at the Homestead Manor on Saturday (9/21), PEOPLE reports. Deaton’s bandmates – Caleb Miller, Simon Dumas, Jordan Harvey, Chad Michael Jervis and Austin Luther – all served as groomsmen.

“I wanted to ask the band guys in a special way to be groomsmen in the wedding, but I also wanted it to happen organically,” Deaton told the publication of asking his band of brothers to stand by his side. “We had all picked up guitars and were just laughing and having a good time. It just felt like the right moment. All of them flipped out. Chad Michael Jervis bawled. It was a great moment.”

At the wedding, guests were served Southern cuisine, which included macaroni and cheese from Puckett’s, a local restaurant that has family ties – Deaton’s parents were married there. The groom wore a tuxedo, while his wife wore a gorgeous Sarah Seven wedding dress with rose gold accessories.

The couple got engaged in December 2017, long before the band’s skyrocketing success.

“I was washing buses for money when she said ‘Yes,’ ” he shared. “So that shows how much faith she has in me. She loves me unconditionally.”

Deaton and Benson first met in high school theater almost a decade ago.

“Before I could take her out, I had to meet with her father,” Deaton recalled. “So I went to her dad’s office. As a high school senior, that was pretty intimidating. But here we are almost eight years later.”

As the couple embarks on their new married life together, they’ll have plenty to keep them busy as Deaton’s band King Calaway gears up to release their debut album, Rivers, on October 4.
