Lorrie Morgan Files For Bankruptcy

Lorrie Morgan has filed for bankruptcy, listing her liabilities at $1-10 Million with her assets at $500,000 – $1 Million. She had also filed for bankruptcy back in 1992 but withdrew that petition after paying her creditors in full. Lorrie’s ex-husband, Sammy Kershaw, filed for bankruptcy in 2007.

Lorrie released the following statement:

“It’s very important to me that my fans and business associates understand that I’m OK. Today’s economic times have affected many American families and businesses. I, along with many of you, am not immune to this fact. I would appreciate the courtesy of my friends and fans respecting my privacy regarding this matter.”

Lorrie’s listed creditors include, but are not limited to, the IRS, banks and lawyers.
