Though Thompson Square announced in July that they were parting ways with their record label, fans do not have to worry about any sort of hiatus in their career. The husband-and-wife duo—who has been hard at work on their new album with producer Nathan Chapman—just announced that they will be hitting the road for their This Is Us acoustic tour.

“We are beyond excited to announce our very first nationwide acoustic tour and giving our fans a completely different Thompson Square experience,” Keifer Thompson says. “We’ll be going back to where it all began while creating a brand-new beginning. It’s going to be a very special tour. Don’t miss it.”

Keifer and Shawna Thompson have put on big shows on tour with the likes of Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean, but the “If I Didn’t Have You” singers are taking a different approach to their performance this time around. They plan to strip it all down to just two stools and an acoustic guitar in intimate venues, making for an experience that feels like fans are hosting the band in their own living room.

The ten-city tour, featuring Nashville singer-songwriter Jake Rose as the opening act, kicks off November 2 in Salisbury, Mass. It will run through cities in the Eastern and Midwestern United States through November 18 with more dates to be announced in the future.
