Hayden Panettiere Tapped As 2014 Belk Ambassador

ABC’s “Nashville” star Hayden Panettiere recently inked a deal to become the 2014 spokesperson for the department store Belk. Starting next year, Panettiere will appear in the store’s advertising, make special appearances, and promote the brand via social media.

Panettiere will also play a role in Belk’s year-long celebration, called Modern. Southern. Music. The event will pay homage to music and its roots, as well celebrate today’s hits from the south.

“In the South, music is the way we breathe life into our stories,” says Kathryn Bufano, Belk president and chief merchandising officer. “It’s fundamental to the Southern lifestyle, and has a tremendous influence on fashion.”

Panettiere will reprise her role as the feisty Juliette Barnes when the new season of “Nashville” returns Wednesday, September 25 at 10/9c on ABC.
