Mickey Guyton lives by an important mantra: sharing is caring. She’s putting this statement into action by opening up her closet for fans to access some of her favorite outfits in partnership with Wardrobe, a new social borrowing platform. Guyton is the latest in a line of celebrities and influencers including Leon Bridges, actress Nina Dobrev and others who are lending some of their designer-brand outfits to fans at an affordable price.

“I always want to give my best, and these were outfits were some of my favorites, and I wanted to give them so people can wear them,” Guyton expresses to Sounds Like Nashville about the partnership. “We’re given these opportunities to wear all these awesome clothes and people always want to know where it’s from. Now they have an opportunity to be able to wear it because it’s there for them. I’m so excited to be able to be a part of that and to share my clothes with people because, let’s face it, we all want to look great on a budget and here is the way to do it.” Wardrobe offers peer-to-peer rentals where users can rent items for four, 10 or 20 day intervals, the company offering genderless sizing that allows people to borrow from any closet. Wardrobe also handles all the logistics from packing and shipping the clothes to partnering with local dry cleaners to ensure the pieces are delivered and returned in high quality condition and serve as pickup and drop off locations.

The country star is generous with her wardrobe, sharing eight unique pieces, many of which were worn in 2020 while she was pregnant with her first child, son Grayson. Additionally, they are all connected to career milestones, including the emerald green long sleeve shirt dress she wore when she found out she had been nominated for her first Grammy Award, to the sparkling black and silver maxi dress she donned while performing “Rose” at the 2021 Rose Bowl Parade, with prices ranging from $22.75 – $30.25. “I had baby in my belly and it’s still a really cute dress that I wanted to share. So those were really important,” she recalls of the pieces.

A beautiful blue and green floral dress Guyton displayed during an appearance on ABC’s 20/20 CMA Country Strong special and a pair of Jimmy Choo boots she wore while farming with Cardi B on her Facebook Watch show, Cardi Tries Ranching are also up for rent. The singer reveals that she’ll be adding the black leather dress she wore at the 2021 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony where she delivered a stellar performance of “What’s Love Got to Do With It” honoring inductee, Tina Turner, to the closet, continuing her desire to share clothing that holds personal resonance. “Fashion and music are hand in hand, and in order to perform amazingly, you have to feel like you look great. When you look great and you feel great, you perform that much better,” Guyton proclaims. “Sharing means caring, and I’m all about sharing the love.”
